Hi there and congratulations on your upcoming wedding. I’m so happy you’re here and I would be thrilled to be apart of your special day!

Now I’m probably guessing that this is your first time planning a wedding and there are so many things to think about when it comes to your big day!

I think I speak for most wedding vendors when I say: we are all here to make sure your day is as stress-free as possible! As a wedding photographer I take my job very seriously as you do not get to redo your wedding day!

Now, you’re probably expecting me to talk about why I am the best for the job and why I’m your ideal photographer.. but can we just skip that part for now?

I want to talk about you! You’re here because you haven’t hired a photographer and you’re looking for someone to meet the following:

  • I believe this is the first thing we all consider when hiring a photographer!

    you find an initial photo you like and confirm through the photographers portfolio that they produce the style you’re looking for.

    this actually ties into the next point..

  • you want to know that the person you are hiring is going to perform well consistently and produce a certain level of quality. this isn’t just about edits that are similar but also about image resolution!

    can you imagine paying someone thousands just to get photos that look like they came from your iPhone? couldn’t be me!

  • you’re trusting a stranger to capture one of the biggest moments of your life! there are no redo’s!! you definitely don’t want someone inexperienced doing this.

    but you’re not a photographer.. so how can you tell someone knows what they’re doing??

    here’s a bit of advice.. look out for the following red flags:

    • the photographer doesn’t have a lot of wedding photos to browse and won’t show you a full gallery

    • they don’t have back up shooters, double card slots or extra equipment when emergencies occur

    • they don’t know how to answer your what-if questions!

    ALL experienced wedding photographers (including myself) will be able to address all these concerns and more!

    We love what we do and making sure your day goes well means planning for everything to go wrong on the off chance it does!

    Weddings are chaotic at heart and as photographers we are supposed to make them feel effortless and fun!

  • price is such an important part of the hiring process. if they don’t meet your budget then in most cases it’s not going to happen!

    but I always recommend the following:

    • NEVER let price be the leading cause for you to hire someone.

    • DO let price filter out your top picks.

    the difference? picking a low price photographer = risk.

    do they meet your style, quality and experience expectations? most of the time if you lead with price, they don’t.

    price is important, but it’s not the #1 thing to consider.

    once you find a photographer that meets your expectations, then let price lead your final decision.

So.. why do I think it’s important to tell you these things and offer advice instead of talking about me?

Because the truth is that it’s not about me. It’s about you! This is YOUR day. I wish I had someone to sit me down and tell me these things before my own wedding day and I’m here to just be your friend, guide you through this process and if you go with me then great! If not, I’m happy that you left with someone who fits those needs and gives you quality images on your best day. I truly wish the best for all future brides. Everyone deserves to have amazing photos on their wedding day.

  • the first thing to do is fill out the contact form. after this I will reach out with the following items:

    • booking deposit

    • photography service agreement

    once these items are complete then you are officially booked with me! any other questions we can address either before booking or along the way. don’t worry, we will make sure everything turns out amazing!

  • I travel all across Arizona and love going out of town for all your special moments!

    typically you can expect the following travel rate outside of the greater phoenix area:

    travel rate = $1.50 /mile

    If you’re unsure about what your specific travel rate will be then let’s talk! I like to be very transparent about my prices so please don’t hesitate to reach out!

  • all images will be delivered through a digital gallery where all guests can download images.

    there is no limit to how much you can download or how many time you can distribute the link. I do offer a usb and prints at an additional cost so please let me know and I can share those prices with you!

  • turnaround time definitely depends on the photography service. it can be as short as 3 weeks or as long as 6 weeks.

    definitely just depends on the service provided! I like to be transparent so I will let you know closer to the 3 week mark when to expect them if you haven’t already received them!

  • I like to use several styles of photography:

    • candids ~ most common during wedding receptions

    • documentary style ~ most common during wedding ceremonies

    • traditional photos ~ most common during family photos

    more than anything I tend to focus my energy towards creating something natural, genuine, well lit and overall happy!

    when editing, I really focus on bringing out earthy tones and the true colors of the day/night.
